Saving Lives Beyond Borders

An initiative for EU-wide interoperability of smartphone-based first responder systems.

The Interoperability Approach

Today's smartphone-based alerting systems (SbEA) are highly effective but technically isolated. Link4Life bridges these gaps through a decentralized API architecture.

Full System Autonomy I believe in empowering existing providers. My API approach ensures that app developers maintain full control over their user base and logic while enabling "Responder Roaming".
Seamless Integration No "master app" required. By connecting dispatch centers (112) with various networks, we ensure that the closest lifesaver is alerted—regardless of which app they have installed.

The Vision

About the Initiator

Link4Life was born out of 20 years of experience in emergency medical services. As a long-time volunteer in ambulance services, SAMU (Mobile Intensive Care Unit), and as an Assistant Incident Commander, I have seen first-hand how every second counts.

Professionally, I am an ICT Engineer. This background allows me to bridge the gap between medical urgency and technical feasibility. Having supported the "Staying Alive" initiative in Luxembourg from the start, I frequently experienced the frustration of being a trained lifesaver abroad but remaining "invisible" to local systems. Link4Life is my commitment to changing that.

I am currently seeking technical and medical feedback to finalize a comprehensive Whitepaper.
